At Grounded we believe the classroom is more than just four walls, chairs, desks and books. Our classrooms can be found all over the place, from office buildings to local parks. For students, parents or teachers looking for age-specific classroom information, click on the appropriate link to the left and find out what we bring to the "traditional" classroom and how being Grounded is one way to guarantee success at any age.

We are available to come into your school and teach your students in any subject area. Classes can also be incorporated into a weekly physical education program, they can happen after school as part of your school's enrichment program or we can hold school wide field day or assembly events. We can also go into individual classrooms throughout the year and provide assistance to teachers with how to incorporate yoga into lesson planning for a particular topic or unit. Based on the International Baccalaureate Learning Profile, the program inspires all students to be Caring, Principled, Thinkers, Inquirers, Communicators, Risk-Takers, Open-minded, Knowledgeable, Balanced, and Reflective

Our Grounded teachers provide fun, upbeat and energetic classes incorporating yoga postures and movement, breathing techniques and visualization with music, reading, language and expressive art. Cooperative games, partner poses, storytelling, themed activities will all be integrated into a yoga experience fostering self-expression, positive body awareness and positive thinking, social skills, and environmental awareness.

By incorporating yoga into the classroom at any grade level, teachers will:
